Ricardo Erlano is a licensed physical therapist and has been practicing for 7 years. Ricardo believes patients and physical therapist's work together as a team, not just for symptomatic relief. Long term planning for the mechanical problems through compliance of his treatment plan, exercising at home and proper posture education is most effective for long term relief. As essential participants in the health care delivery system, physical therapists assume leadership roles in rehabilitation, prevention, health maintenance and programs that promote health, wellness and fitness.

Rehabilitation is concerned with the restoration of function and the prevention of disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part. The therapeutic properties of heat, cold, electric stimulation, ultrasound, massage and exercise are used to improve circulation, strengthen muscles and encourage the return of motion and function. Our hands-on approach begins with an examination and is followed by a treatment program, which is specifically designed to assist our patients in restoring function. Our patients will be taught the proper way to exercise and use the body to gain strength and mobility and prevent recurring injury.

Ricardo is board of education affiliated and works with M.R.D.D. patients. He has vast experience working with the elderly.  He is currently certified in the Spider taping technique.

Most forms of physical therapy treatment are covered by insurance, but the coverage may vary with each plan.  If you have any questions about whether we can assist you, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Many people think acupuncture may hurt but this is far from the truth. The needles tend to be so fine that some compare the feeling to that of a mosquito bite. Other people feel nothing at all.

This holistic ancient form of Chinese medicine is designed to balance your energy (chi ) and help stimulate your body's natural healing abilities. A single session can provide a deep state of relaxation while relieving stress, tension, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances and even the side effects of smoking cessation. Acupuncture, which is endorsed by the national Institute of Health, is a recognized alternative modality. It is effective in addressing musculoskeletal pain, arthritis, migraines, tension headaches, asthma, tendonitis and fatigue - and as an aid in preventing illness and promoting longevity.

Acupuncture is covered by many insurance providers. If you are interested in acupuncture, please give us a call. Our staff will be very happy to answer any questions you may have.
