Rehabilitation is concerned with the restoration of function and the prevention of disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part. The therapeutic properties of heat, cold, electric stimulation, ultrasound, massage and exercise are used to improve circulation, strengthen muscles and encourage the return of motion and function. Our hands-on approach begins with an examination and is followed by a treatment program, which is specifically designed to assist our patients in restoring function. Our patients will be taught the proper way to exercise and use the body to gain strength and mobility and prevent recurring injury.
Ricardo is board of education affiliated and works with M.R.D.D. patients. He has vast experience working with the elderly. He is currently certified in the Spider taping technique.
Most forms of physical therapy treatment are covered by insurance, but the coverage may vary with each plan. If you have any questions about whether we can assist you, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
